Women?s Golf Playing at Purgatory This Week

MUNCIE, Ind. -- The Ball State women's golf team will tee it up close to home this week, playing Sunday and Monday in Noblesville, Ind.
The Cardinals are one of 13 teams in the field for The Preview at Purgatory Golf Club, which will host the Mid-American Conference Championships in the spring.
Nine MAC teams -- Akron, Ball State, Bowling Green, Central Michigan, Eastern Michigan, Northern Illinois, Ohio, Toledo and Western Michigan -- will compete, along with Cleveland State, Illinois-Chicago, Indiana State and Youngstown State.
The action gets underway with an 8:30 a.m. shotgun start Sunday. The teams will play 36 holes on day one and 18 holes on day two. Live scoring is available at golfstat.com.
Ball State's lineup will again feature Allison Lindley, Kelsey Sear, Sydney Anderson, Kayla Adamson and Morgan Nadaline. Freshman Alyssa Cook will make her collegiate debut, competing as an individual.
The Preview is back on the schedule after a one-year hiatus. Ball State has twice won the event (2009 and 2012).
