
Milwaukee Downs Men?s Swim & Dive 171-71

MUNCIE, Ind. – The Ball State men's swimming and diving team fell 171-71 to Milwaukee on Friday evening in a double dual meet hosted with the Ball State women's swim and dive team and IUPUI. The Cardinals earned seven top-three finishes including two event wins on the day.
Senior Joseph Morris turned in both top finishes, including the 100 freestyle at 46.42 and in the 400 medley relay at 3:28.84, after combining with senior Andrew Sullenbarger, junior Cole Smith, and sophomore Tanner Barton. Morris also found success in the 200 free relay to close out the meet with a second place finish in a 1:25.74 fashion.
Morris' 400 medley relay partners Barton and Smith each snagged additional top-three times when Barton clocked a 52.36 in the 100 fly to capture second, while Smith tied for third in the 50 free with Austin Green at 21.84. Smith also tallied a second place finish in the 200 free relay with Morris, Green, and sophomore Logan Kisinger.
Freshman diver Seth Winslow peaked in the 1-meter event with a fourth place finish at 243.55, but came in seventh in the 3-meter at 215.30.
The Ball State men's swimming and diving team will be back in action Sunday, Jan. 25 when they travel to Indianapolis, Ind. to participate in the Butler Invitational at noon.
