
Gymnasts Lose at Northern Illinois; At CMU Sunday

Ball State's gymnastics team suffered a 192/050 to 188.825 loss at Northern Illinois Friday in the Cardinals Mid-American Conference opener.
With the loss, Ball State falls to 2-4 overall and 0-1 in the MAC. The Cardinals will travel to Mount Pleasant, Mich., to face Central Michigan Sunday.
Denasiha Christian won the floor exercise with a 9.75 to lead the Cardinals top performers at Northern Illinois.
On the vault, Erin Patchey tied for second with a 9.70, while Brooke Evans was fourth with a 9.675.
Angela Durkac tallied a second-place showing on the bars with a 9.700, while Miranda Kuehl placed fifth on the beam with a 9.45 mark.
