Gymnastics Tallies Highest Score of Season in Loss

FINAL RESULTS
Ball State's gymnastics team tallied its highest team score of the season with a 192.350, but suffered a loss at Central Michigan, which scored a 195.80.
The Cardinals fall to 2-5 overall and 0-2 in the Mid-American Conference. Ball State will host Bowling Green Friday at 7 p.m. in its annual Alumni Meet as the Cardinals welcome back former gymnasts.
On the vault, Brooke Evans and Denasiha Christian tied for third with scores of 9.80. Christian also managed a third-place showing on the floor exercise with a 9.825.
Samantha Santos placed third on the beam with a 9.800 to lead the Cardinals in that event. The 9.800 mark was a season high for Santos on the beam. Brooklyn Schumacher's 9.725 mark on the bars was the best for Ball State and earned her a tie for fifth.
