Men's Tennis Ends Day Two at Milwaukee Classic

MILWAUKEE, Wis. - The Ball State men's tennis team finished its second day of competition at the 38th annual Milwaukee Classic Saturday afternoon hosted by Marquette.
True freshmen Lucas Andersen and Andrew Stutz both remained undefeated in singles action after posting wins against Wisconsin. Andersen, for the second straight day, earned a come from behind victory after dropping the first set. He would end up beating Jakhongir Jalalov 2-6, 6-3, 1-0. Stutz defeated John Zordani from the Badgers in straight sets, 6-4, 7-5.
The doubles tandem of Ray Leonard and Patrick Elliott were the lone doubles victory for the Cardinals for the day. The twosome took down host Marquettes' Dan Mamalat and Vukasin Teofanovic, 9-8.
The Ball State men's tennis team will end its competition at the 38th annual Milwaukee Tennis Classic Sunday at 10 a.m. EST against Wisconsin.
