Ball State University Athletics

Senior Perspective: Shanee' Jackson
March 10, 2013 | Women's Basketball
In her first three seasons as a Ball State Cardinal, Shanee' Jackson won a total of 32 games. Prior to her senior season, Jackson told new head coach Brady Sallee that she wanted one thing from her final year in Muncie. Jackson wanted to win.
Sallee couldn't promise the forward anything on the court. He couldn't gaurantee minutes or stats, let alone victory. But the Cards new coach guaranteed Jackson that if she went about things the right way, she'd be welcome back as a Cardinal for life. Jackson took those words to heart and became an integral part of the MAC's biggest turnaround in the last two decades.
