Men's Tennis Falls to Brown at Home, 5-2

MUNCIE, Ind. - The Ball State men's tennis team fell to Brown Friday afternoon by a score of 5-2 at the Muncie YMCA Tennis Center. With the loss the Cardinals fall to 3-4 on the season.
The Cardinals fell behind early after losing the doubles point. Alexandre Brym and Imanol Arconada won their match at No. 2 doubles after defeating Brown's twosome of Soufiane Azargul and Brandon Burke, 9-8 (7-3).
In singles action Dalton Albertin captured a 7-6 (7-5), 3-6 (10-8) win over Michael Riechmann at the No. 1 spot. The only other win for the Cardinals came from Patrick Elliott at No. 4 singles after defeating Burke, 6-2, 7-6 (7-2).
The Ball State men's tennis team continues its two-match homestand Sunday when it hosts IUPUI at 3 p.m. in the Muncie YMCA Tennis Center.
