Women's Swim and Dive Heads on the Road

MUNCIE, Ind. – The Ball State women's swimming and diving team heads on the road this weekend for a pair of dual meets against Michigan State and Toledo. The meet against Michigan State is set for 5 p.m., Friday, Nov. 1, while the match-up with conference foe Toledo will start at 1 p.m. on Saturday, Nov. 2.
The Cardinals have not faced the Spartans since the 2011-12 season when Ball State took a 182-108 victory at Lewellen Aquatics Center. BSU won 13 of 16 events, with three Cardinals posting a pair of individual wins.
Ball State dropped its last dual meet with Toledo, 185-115, during the 2011-12 campaign. The Cardinals earned three event victories led by Haley Richter who won the 200 IM.
Michigan State is coming off a loss against Illinois and Liberty. Toledo is 2-0 on the season and earned its first MAC victory of the campaign, topping of Buffalo 179-.5 – 107.5 on Saturday, Oct. 26.
Ball State opened up the 2013-14 campaign with a loss to Ohio, 162-138.
