
Field Hockey Falls to Miami, 7-0

OXFORD, Ohio - The Ball State field hockey dropped a 7-0 decision to MAC foe Miami Friday evening. The Cardinals will face the Spartans of Michigan State on Sunday, Oct. 13 at 1 p.m.
Sophomores Bethany Han and Natalie Jardell and freshmen Colleen McGlynn and Anna Pryde were credited with shots on the day.
Grace Leeker led the way for the RedHawks with three goals, while Jordan Long tallied two assists on the day.
Sophomore Shelby Henley made six saves on the day, while RedHawk goalie Sarah Mueller made four saves.
With the loss, Ball State drops to 5-7 on the year and 0-2 in MAC play while Miami improves to 7-6 on the campaign and 1-0 in conference action.
