TJ Carpenter, a graduate assistant with the Ball State men's golf team, is one of 12 collegiate, post-collegiate and professional golfers currently in Kenya as part of the Athletes in Action program.
The group is there to minister to the people of Nairobi, Kenya, while also teaching the game of golf and working in the community.
Carpenter, a former four-year letterwinner with the Cardinals, traveled with the Athletes in Action group early this week and will spend two weeks in Kenya.
You can follow the group's activities through this blog, which will be updated throughout their trip.
