Football Team Closing in on Game Week

Ball State head football coach Pete Lembo talked with Katie Hawkins of the Cardinals' media relations office after Wednesday's practice.

The Cardinals open the season Thurs., Aug. 30, at Scheumann Stadium with a 7 p.m. game vs. the Eastern Michigan Eagles.

Last year's game vs. EMU was won by Ball State on a Steven Schott field goal with nine seconds remaining in the contest.
