Women?s S&D Named A CSCAA Scholar All America Team

Muncie, Ind. - The Ball State women's swimming & diving team has been honored as a Spring 2012 Scholar All America Team as announced by the College Swimming Coaches Association of America.
The Cardinals finished the 2012 spring semester with a 3.47 team grade-point average to rank 23rd among the 143 teams posting at least a 3.00 GPA.
Ball State was the second-highest ranked school from the state of Indiana, trailing only Evansville (3.56 / seventh). BSU was also the highest ranked Mid-American Conference program, with Bowling Green ranking second among the seven league teams listed at 30th with a 3.45 GPA.
The CSCAA presents the Team Scholar All America award to college and university swimming and diving teams who achieved a cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher.Sports Link: National Girls and Women in Sports Day
