Lomax Ends Season At NCAA East Preliminary Round

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. - - Ball State sophomore high jumper Rebecca Lomax (Indianapolis, Ind./Southport) completed the 2012 season with a 44th-place finish in the high jump competition at the NCAA East Preliminary Round competition hosted by the University of North Florida at Hodges Stadium in Jacksonville.
Lomax successfully cleared her starting height of 1.67m (5-5.75) in her second attempt, but would fail to advance any farther, as she fell short in all three jumps at 1.72m (5-7.75).
