Football Team Hosts Pro Day for NFL Scouts

Ball State's football program hosted its annual Pro Day for prospective professional football athletes.
Six National Football League scouts attended the day's activities which saw the prospects get measured, lift weights, get timed and run through drills.
Ball State had eight players participate, while seven additional student-athletes from a variety of schools joined the day.
For Ball State, Sean Baker, Torieal Gibson, Joshua Howard, Kreg Hunter, Briggs Orsbon, Steve Spence, Lorren Womack and Charlie Todd participated. Todd completed his Ball State career after the 2010 season, while the others were seniors in 2011.
Baker and Orsbon ran 40-yard dash times of 4.65, while Baker managed 24 bench presses of 225 lbs. Todd also benched the 225 lbs., 24 times.
In addition Orsbon and Baker had the best vertical jumps of the Ball State players. Orsbon managed a leap of 35-feet, 5-inches, while Baker tallied a 33-5 mark.
Orsbon managed a Ball State best broad jump of 9-feet, 11-inches, while Womack had a 9-10 and Baker a 9-6.
