Football in Midst of Bowl Preparations in Florida

Ball State's football team is in midst of preparations for the Beef 'O' Brady's St. Petersburg Bowl Friday vs. UCF at 7:30 p.m. on ESPN.
The Cardinals arrived in St. Petersburg, Fla., Sunday and conducted practices Monday and Tuesday at Clearwater Central Catholic High School. Ball State enjoyed a Player's Cruise Tuesday night and returned to practice Wednesday at Tropicana Field, the site of the bowl game.
The Cardinals practiced for two hours at Tropicana Field Wednesday and completed the practice with a bowl team photo.
Ball State participated in a Beach Bash bowl event Wednesday.
The Cardinals attended the bowl's Kickoff Luncheon Thursday and practiced again at Tropicana Field in their final preparations for Friday's game.
The Cardinals, under the direction of second-year head coach Pete Lembo, completed the regular season 9-3 and will face the UCF Knights of Conference USA, who finished the regular season at 9-4.
