WBB Faces Toledo in MAC Action Thursday on the Road

Scouting Ball State: The Ball State women's basketball team enters Thursday's game with a 7-10 overall record and 2-2 mark in the Mid-American Conference. This is the second MAC road contest in a row for the Cardinals, they fell 84-66 to Central Michigan Saturday. The game against Toledo will end the first round of MAC West Division play as the Cardinals will face its first MAC East Divisional opponent Sunday against Akron. Ball State is led by sophomore forward Jazmin Hitchens who is averagin 11.7 points per game.
Scouting Toledo: The Toledo Rockets will enter Thursday's contest with an overall record of 9-7 and a league mark of 2-2. Toledo was picked to finish first in the MAC West Division preseason poll. The Rockets are 25-11 (.694) against MAC West Division opponents over the last three seasons under the direction of head women's basketball coach Tricia Cullop. The Rockets are coming off of a 49-47 road win against Northern Illinois Saturday. Toledo has two players averaging double figures, Andola Dortch (13.7) and Courtney Ingersoll (11.3). Defensively, Yoland Richardson and Lecretia Smith both pull down 5.1 rebounds per game.
