Ball State athletics will kick off the football season for the Muncie community with its annual Paint the Town Red festivities Tues., Aug. 9.
The event will be held at the Delaware County Courthouse Plaza and run from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m.
Free lunch will be served to the first 500 visitors courtesy of Ball State athletics.
Members of the Muncie community and all Ball State fans will be able to meet the 2011 football team and coaching staff.
