Two Women's Golfers Honored by MAC

Two members of the Ball State women's golf team -- Brittany Kelly and Katie Windlan -- were honored by the Mid-American Conference at the postseason banquet at the completion of the MAC Championships.
Kelly was named to the All-MAC First Team for the second straight season after being named to the second team as a sophomore.
Windlan was named to the MAC All-Tournament Team after leading the Cardinals and tying for fifth overall with a 79-78-74=231 at the conference championships.
Kelly, who led the Cardinals with a 75.30 average in 2010-11, posted eight top-10 and nine top-20 finishes, including a ninth place finish at the league championships. She was named the MAC Golfer of the Week three times in 2010-11, and posted a season low score of 71 twice.
Kelly, who set the Ball State record for scoring average in one year, two years and three years, tallied the all-time record for lowest average in a career with a 76.42 mark over her four seasons.
Windlan was third on the team with a 79.17 mark. She managed four top-10 finishes this season, and her fifth place mark at the MAC tied for her season's top placing.
Ball State finished third at the MAC Championships after finishing a school best second place at the 2010 league championships.
