Brittany Kelly Receives Student of the Year Award

Brittany Kelly, a senior member of the Ball State women's golf team, was selected as the Ball State Sports Administration Female Student of the Year.
The award, which was selected by the sports administration faculty, recognizes one male and one female student each year.
Kelly owns a 3.643 grade-point average on Ball State's 4.0 scale plus leads the Cardinals with a 75.04 golf average so far this year. Kelly, who interned with the American Junior Golf Association last summer, has seven top-10 finishes and eight top-20 placings this season.
Kelly was a 2010 All-Mid-American Conference selection plus was named to the Academic All-MAC Team, the All-MAC Tournament Team and was selected as a National Golf Coaches Association All-American Scholar.
A 2009 All-MAC Second-Team choice, Kelly will lead the Cardinals into the MAC Championships April 22-24 at Longaberger Golf Course in Nashport, Ohio.
