Women's Golf Finishes 12th at UNLV

Ball State's women's golf team finished 12th at the 15-team UNLV Spring Invitational at Boulder Creek Golf Club in Boulder City, Nev.
Ball State managed a team score of 301-308-304=913.
Brittany Kelly and Rachael Pruett tied for 22nd at the event with scores of 222. Kelly managed a 77-73-72, while Pruett tallied a 74-75-73.
Autumn Duke, who shot a career low 73 in the first round, managed a 73-79-79=231 to tie for 49th.
Katie Windlan tallied a 77-81-80=238, while Chantelle Hefer carded an 82-83-83=248.
Also competing at the UNLV event were Baylor, Brigham Young, Colorado State, Idaho, Nebraska, New Mexico State, North Texas, Pepperdine, Oregon State, Oklahoma, South Dakota State, Tulsa, Wyoming and UNLV.
The Cardinals will continue the 2010-11 season at the Arkansas-Little Rock Golf Classic at Diamante Country Club in Hot Springs, Ark., March 28-29.
