Men's Tennis Loses 7-0 to No. 4 Illinois

URBANA, Ill. - The Ball State University men's tennis team dropped a 7-0 decision to No. 4 Illinois Friday afternoon at the Atkins Tennis Center. With the loss Ball State falls to 8-3 on the season while the Illinois improves to 7-4.
The Cardinals dropped the doubles point to Illinois after losing 8-3 at the No. 2 and No. 3 spots. In singles action Zane Smith and Derek Carpenter lost their matches in three sets at the No. 3 and No. 6 respectively.
The Ball State University men's tennis team takes on Harvard at a neutral site in Louisville, Kentucky Saturday at 1 p.m.
