Men's Tennis Loses At Illinois State 5-2

NORMAL, Ill. - The Ball State University men's tennis team dropped a 5-2 decision at Illinois State Saturday afternoon. With the loss BSU falls to 8-7 on the season.
The Cardinals took the early advantage over the RedBirds after winning the doubles point. At No. 1 doubles Dalton Albertin and Cliff Morrison took down Alexander Pelaez and Timon Reichelt by a score of 9-7. Zane Smith and Derek Carpenter earned the 9-7 victory over Illinois State twosome Tuomas Manner and Matej Zlatkovic at the No. 2 position.
In singles Austin Sansone was the lone Cardinal to a match after beating Smith-Dennis in straight sets, 6-1, 6-1.
