Men's Tennis Falls to Michigan State 6-1

MUNCIE, Ind. - The Ball State men's tennis team fell to Michigan State 6-1 today at the Muncie YMCA. The Cardinals season record is 6-2.
The Cardinals had only one win in doubles and singles action. In doubles, the team of Zane Smith and Derek Carpenter beat Jason Norville and John Stratton 8-5 in the No. 1 spot. In singles, Cliff Morrison defeated Michigan State's Ron Hulewicz 7-6 (6) and 6-2 in the No. 2 spot.
The Ball State men's tennis team will host University of Wisconsin Green Bay and Dayton for a double header Sunday at the Muncie YMCA on Sunday. The first match will begin at 1 p.m.
