Scouting Ball State: Ball State enters the Toledo contest with a 9-16 overall record and 4-8 mark in the Mid-American Conference. Senior forward Emily Maggert leads the squad, averaging 15.3 points per game ,while senior guard Ty'Ronda Benning adds 12.9 points per contest. BSU currently owns a 4-2 record in league action at home this season.
Scouting Toledo: The Rockets will face the Cardinals with a 19-8 overall record and an 11-1 MAC mark. Toledo won the first meeting against Ball State, 63-46, Jan. 5 in Savage Arena. A win today will allow Toledo to clinch a share of the MAC West Division title, earning a bye in the first round of the MAC tournament. The Rockets currently are riding a seven-game win streak with their last lost being at Central Michigan Jan. 19 by a score of 74-78. Leading the way for UT in scoring is Naama Shafir (14.1), Melissa Goodall (13.0) and Jessica Williams (10.1).
