Men's Tennis Ends Day Two at USTA/ITA Regional

KNOXVILLE, Tenn. - The Ball State University men's tennis team ended day two of its competition at the Ohio Valley Regional Championship, hosted by the University of Tennessee.
In the doubles main draw seniors Derek Carpenter and Zane Smith advanced to the quarterfinal round on Saturday in which the twosome will face Andrew Carter and S. Stiefelmeyer. Junior Dalton Albertin and freshman Ray Leonard also moved on to the quarterfinals.
In singles action Albertin will compete in the singles consolation draw round of 16 along with teammates Carpenter, Zane Smith, Leonard and sophomore Alex Doherty.
The Ball State men's tennis team will continue fall action at the USTA/ITA Ohio Valley Regional Saturday.
