
Gymnastics Team Loses to CMU

Ball State's gymnastics team suffered a 193.500 to 190.375 loss to Mid-American Conference foe Central Michigan Friday night at Irving Gym.
Emily Wehrle won the beam with a career high 9.800, while freshman Leah Wilson was second with a career best 9.775.
Nicole Allen tied for first on the vault with a career high 9.775 and placed third in the all-around with a 38.375.
Paige Oswalt tied for third on the bars with a 9.650, while Brittney Emmons was third on the floor with a 9.750.
Ball State tallied a 47.875 on the vault and a 46.875 on the bars. The Cardinals tallied a 48.225 on the beam and a 47.400 on the floor.
With the loss, Ball State falls to 0-2 overall and 0-1 in the MAC. The Cardinals will continue the 2011 season Friday at Maryland with Towson State.
