Rachael Pruett Named MAC Women's Golfer of Week

Rachael Pruett, a senior member of the Ball State women's golf team, has been named the Mid-American Conference Women's Golfer of the Week after winning the Ball State Cardinal Classic.
Pruett tallied a 72-70=142 to earn her first career tournament victory in the 14-team field. She helped the Cardinals to a third-place finish in a field that included Western Michigan, Northern Illinois, Ohio and Bowling Green from the Mid-American Conference.
The tournament was played at The Players Club in Muncie, Ind., and the course played to a par-72.
