Men's Golf Team Ranked 31st in the Nation

Ball State men's golf team is ranked 31st in the nation in this week's national poll. The Cardinals tied for second out of 15 teams at the Wolf Run Intercollegiate and finished sixth out of 16 teams at the Louisville Cardinal Collegiate in the second tournament of the year.
Ball State, under the direction of 13th year head coach Mike Fleck, is the highest ranked Mid-American Conference team in the poll. The other MAC schools and their rankings are as follows: Kent State (39), Miami University (58), Bowling Green (87), Toledo (106), Northern Illinois (120), Eastern Michigan (131), Akron (133) and Ohio (160).
In the Cardinals season opening tournament at Wolf Run, Ball State tied for second with 18th-ranked Central Florida and finished ahead of top-50 ranked Tulsa (33), Northwestern (34), Indiana (45) and Missouri (50).
Ball State will continue its 2010 fall schedule at the Renaissance Invitational in Fort Myers, Fla., Oct. 3-4.
