Ball State Athletics to Paint the Town Red Friday

The Ball State athletics department and the downtown Muncie community will join together to "Paint the Town Red" Friday from 11 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. at the Delaware County Building at the corner of Main and Walnut.
Ball State will have giveaways to get you ready for the 2010 football season, which opens Thurs., Sept. 2, at 7 p.m. at Scheumann Stadium vs. Southeast Missouri State. In addition, fans will be able to get schedule magnets and posters of the 2010 football schedule.
The first 500 visitors will receive free lunch, courtesy of Ball State athletics. A hot dog, chips and drink will be available.
Ball State head football coach Stan Parrish will be on hand to meet and greet fans of the Cardinals football program.
