Ball State Men's Golf Alums Play in Nationwide Tour Event

Ball State men's golf alums Andrew Rhodes and Jeff Gallagher competed in the Chiquita Classic, a Nationwide Tour event at TPC Riverbend in Cincinnati, Ohio.
Rhodes, who completed his Ball State career in 2009, played in his first Nationwide Tour event. He ranked second for the Cardinals with a 74.11 average as a senior and managed a career low 65 at the Herb Wimberly Intercollegiate in 2008-09.
Gallagher, who turned professional after completing his Ball State career in 1987, has three top-20 finishes in Nationwide Tour events this season. He competed on the PGA Tour in 2006 and 2008.
