WBB Hires Audrey McDonald As Director Of Operations

"The opportunity to have Audrey McDonald join our women's basketball staff is one of immense meaning and value," said Packard. "Audrey has represented herself with such class and character throughout her high school and collegiate careers. Her reputation throughout Indiana and the Midwest region is one of honor and respect. She understands my heart for coaching and fully supports the direction and philosophies of our program."
McDonald was a guard for the Ball State women's basketball team from 2006-10. She helped the Cardinals to the most successful season in school history in 2008-09 when the Cardinals won the Mid-American Conference Championship, the MAC Tournament title and earned the school's first ever berth in the NCAA Tournament. In 2008-09, Ball State tallied a 26-9 overall record, won the MAC with a 14-2 mark and defeated Tennessee 71-55 in the first round of the NCAA Tournament. McDonald ended her career eighth on the school's all-time scoring list (1,353), first in three pointers made (323), first all-time in games started (126), minutes played (4,180), three point field goal attempts (799), games played (127) and most three pointers made in a game with nine. She also holds the three point MAC record with 323. McDonald earned MAC Honorable Mention this season and she was a recipient of Academic All-MAC .

"I am blessed to be able to work with and learn from such an inspiring, healthy, passionate leader in Coach Packard. "I have witnessed first hand what an amazing place and community we have here in Muncie and I am thrilled to have the opportunity to stay."
