Brittany Kelly Named MAC Women's Golfer of the Week

Brittany Kelly, a junior member of the Ball State University women's golf team, was named the Mid-American Conference Golfer of the Week for her performance at the Indiana Invitational in Bloomington, Ind., Saturday and Sunday.
Kelly tied for eighth in the 16-team event with a 75-77-70=222. Her final round 70 ties her lowest round of the season. Kelly leads the Cardinals with a 75.21 average, and now has seven top-10 finishes on the season.
This marks the second time this season Kelly has earned the weekly honor. She was also named the MAC Golfer of the Week after finishing third at the UNLV Invitational in early March.
Ball State's women's golf team is idle until the MAC Championships April 23-25 at The Hawthorns Golf Course in Fishers, Ind.
