
Gymnastics Team Suffer Loss at Nation's No. 4 Florida Gators

Ball State's gymnastics team suffered a loss to the nation's fourth-ranked Florida Gators and North Carolina in a three-way meet in Gainesville, Fla.
Ball State managed a 191.350 to Florida's 197.550 and UNC's 194.225.
The Cardinals were led by Brittney Emmons, who tied for fourth on the vault (9.850), tied for fifth on the floor (9.850) and finished sixth in the all-around (38.275).
Katelyn Busacker tied for seventh on the uneven bars with a 9.800, while Tiffany Brodbeck finished 10th on the balance beam with a 9.700.
Christa Greinke managed a career high 9.600 on the vault. Megan Howard tallied a career high 9.575 on the beam.
With the pair of losses, Ball State falls to 5-9 on the season. The Cardinals will compete at Mid-American Conference foe Central Michigan Saturday at 7 p.m., before returning home for the final meet of the year at Worthen Arena vs. Eastern Michigan March 21 at 1 p.m.
