Men?s Tennis Defeats Weber State 5-2

LAS VEGAS, Nevada – The Ball State University men's tennis team earned a 5-2 victory over Weber State in Las Vegas Thursday. The Cardinals improved their overall record to 10-3 on the season.
Ball State took an early 1-0 advantage over Weber State after earning the doubles point. The BSU twosome of Eduardo Pavia and Dalton Albertin claimed an 8-4 win over Simon Unger and Sascha Kiehne at No. 1. Andres Monroy and Zane Smith teamed up at No. 2 singles winning by a score of 8-3 over Henning Hipp and Dave Hintze.
In singles action Pavia, Alex Brym, Albertin and Shaun Bussert all won in two sets to earn the victory for the Cardinals.
The Ball State University men's tennis team will close out play in Las Vegas as they take on UNLV Friday at 2 p.m.
