Maggert earned her 20th career double-double after leading Ball State with 18 points while pulling down 13 rebounds. . Maggert leads the team with 18.3 points per game and 11.0 rebounds . . . while Audrey McDonald is chipping a 11.8 points per contest . . . Ty'Ronda Benning is contributing 9.3 points per game.
Scouting Northern Illinois: The Huskies improved to 10-15 overall and 4-9 in the MAC after defeating Toledo 73-67 last Saturday. . . Marke Freeman leads NIU with 17.5 points per game while teammate Mauvolyene Adams is averaging 13.1 points per game and Ebony Ellis is chipping in 12.1 ppg.
The Coaches: Ball State head coach Kelly Packard is in her second season at Ball State . . . Packard's overall record at Ball State is 37-24, while her Mid-American Conference mark is 19-10 . . . Northern Illinois' head coach Carol Owens is in her fifth season at the helm of the Huskies and owns a 66-77 ledger at NIU with a 35-40 league mark.
The Series: This is the 38th meeting between Ball State and Northern Illinois . . . The Huskies lead the all-time series record 23-14 . . . Ball State defeated Northern Illinois in DeKalb back in January 64-62. The Cardinals have not lost to Northern Illinois at home since the 1998-99 season. Ball State fell 57-49 to the Huskies that game.
