Ball State Men's Tennis Wins Two

MUNCIE, Ind. - The Ball State men's tennis team swept its non-conference doubleheader at the Muncie YMCA Tennis Center Sunday, after defeating Wisconsin-Green Bay and then Anderson University, 7-0. The Cardinals improved their overall record to 5-3 on the season.
Against the Phoenix it came down to the No.1 doubles team of junior Eduardo Pavia and freshman Dalton Albertin to put Ball State up 1-0 heading into singles play. Pavia and Albertin managed a close 9-8 (3) victory over Fabian Gogolin and Paul Swanson. Prior to that match sophomore Derek Carpenter along with classmate Cliff Morrison won at No. 3 doubles 8-4.
Ball State won all 12 of its singles matches today versus Wisconsin-Green Bay and Anderson. The Cardinals also swept all of its doubles matches against Anderson in the second part of the doubleheader.
