Men's Tennis Loses At Purdue

In doubles action the Ball State twosome of Eduardo Pavia and Dalton Albertin captured an 8-6 victory over P.J. Rose and Eric Ramos at the No. 1 spot. The Cardinals had lost at No. 3 doubles before that match. It came down to Andres Monroy and Zane Smith for the doubles point against the Boilermakers. Purdue's Slavako Bijelica and Thomas Wilson went on to win 9-8.
Pavia defeated Bijelica 6-4, 6-2 at No. 1 singles. He improves to 2-1 on the season. Albertin also won his match over Matt Manasse 6-3, 6-4 at No. 5 singles.
The Ball State University men's tennis team continues Big Ten competition when it travels to Michigan State Saturday, Feb. 6. The match will begin at Noon.
