Women?s Swimming & Diving Hosts Ohio Saturday

MUNCIE, Ind. - - The Ball State women's swimming & diving team returns to the Lewellen Aquatic Center Saturday afternoon for a 1 p.m. Mid-American Conference showdown with the Ohio Bobcats.
The Cardinals enter Saturday's contest with a 10-5 (1-4 MAC) overall record after a busy schedule last weekend. Last Saturday, the Cardinals traveled to Ypsilanti, Mich., for a league showdown with the Eagles, and despite some strong performances, suffered a 155.5-133.5 setback.
BSU followed with a five-team dual extravaganza Sunday at North Central High School in Indianapolis. In the meet, the Cardinals posted 833 points to top Youngstown State (493), Eastern Illinois (375), Valparaiso (271) and Butler (139).
The Bobcats enter the week with a 7-2 (3-2 MAC) record after scoring a 167.5-132.5 victory over Miami last Saturday. Ohio will battle Xavier at 5 p.m. Friday, before making taking a plunge at the Lewellen Aquatic Center Saturday.
