Men's Tennis Closes Out Play In Ball State Invitational

MUNCIE, Ind. - The Ball State University men's tennis team closed out play at the 31st Annual Ball State Invitational Sunday afternoon at the Cardinal Creek Tennis Center.
Sophomore Cliff Morrison competed in teh semifinal round of the invitational in the men's singles Flight A draw. Morrison dropped his match to Detroit Mercy's Necajevz by a score of 6-2, 6-4.
In Flight A doubles the BSU twosome of freshman Dalton Albertin and junior Eduardo Pavia fell 8-5 to Ben Hartman and Jozwiak Bartosz of DePaul in the championship match.
Freshman Alex Doherty defeated Jacob Straus of Marquette in the Flight C semifinals, 6-4, 6-3 before falling in the championship to DePaul's Mathia Hambach, 6-1, 6-2.
The Ball State University men's tennis team continues fall action on the road at the Northwestern Invitational located in Evanston, Ill. (Oct. 2-4).
