Football's MiQuale Lewis Named to Award Watch List

Lewis, who was a 2008 All-Mid-American Conference First Team selection, rushed for a Ball State single-season record 1,736 last season. He led the Cardinals and ranked seventh in the nation in scoring with 9.43 points per game plus was fifth in the nation with 124.0 rushing yards a contest. Lewis set the Ball State school record for most 100-yard rushing games in a season with 11 and set school standards for single season touchdowns (22) and points (132). He became the eighth player in Ball State history to log a 1,000-yard rushing campaign, and became only the 10th player in Cardinals' history to rush for at least 2,000 yards in a career.
