Getting To Know: Ball State's Brandon Crawford
Brandon Crawford is a senior defensive end for the Ball State Cardinals. Crawford started all 14 games to earn third letter last season. He tied for third on the team with eight tackles for loss and was fourth on the team with three sacks. The Marine recovered a fumble at Miami University on Veteran's Day. Crawford worked in an automotive factory after high school graduation and before joining the Marine Corps in 1999. He went to Military Occupational Specialties school and then to Marine Corps Air Station Cherry Point in Havelock, N.C. and received an honorary discharge from the Marine Corps in 2003.
He graduated from Ball State in May and is currently working on a master's degree as he prepares for his final collegiate football season.
