June 11, 2009 | Baseball
Dygert earned First Team All-Mid-American Conference honors this season as he finished with a .350 batting average. He was second on the team with 58 RBI while scoring 42 runs. He posted a .584 slugging percentage on the strength of 19 doubles and nine home runs. Dygert, who played in all but one game on the year, finished fourth in the MAC in doubles and sixth in the conference in RBI. He posted 23 multiple-hit games and 15 multiple-RBI contests during the year while also recording an 11-game hitting streak.
