Ball State earned its first ever berth into the NCAA Tournament after winning the program's first Mid-American Conference Tournament title in Cleveland March 15. The Cardinals also advanced to the second round of the NCAA Tournament after knocking off
This is the first time in the history of Ball State women's basketball that it has received votes in the final top 25 USA Today Coaches Poll.
