Gratton Named To 2008-09 Academic All-MAC Team
Gratton led the team in rebounding pulling down 7.0 boards per contest while also averaging 11.7 points per game. She was the only MAC player to be named to the ESPN The Magazine Academic All-District V Team earlier in the season. Gratton garnered Third Team All-MAC honors and was tabbed MAC Player of the Week (2/2). She owns a 3.91 grade point average on
The Academic All-MAC honor is for a student-athlete who has excelled in athletics and academics. To qualify, a student-athlete must have at least a 3.20 cumulative GPA and have participated in at least 50 percent of the contests for that particular sport. First-year students and junior college transfers in their first year of residence are not eligible for the award.
