
Men's Tennis Loses To 20th Ranked Notre Dame

MUNCIE, Ind. - The Ball State University men's tennis team fell 7-0 to 20th ranked Notre Dame Monday afternoon at the Muncie YMCA Tennis Center. With the loss the Cardinals drop to 11-10 on the season.
The Cardinals trailed the Irish early on dropping all three of their doubles matches. At No. 2 sophomore Eduardo Pavia and teammate freshman Andres Monroy put up the closest score but lost 8-5 to Stephen Havens and Casey Watt.
In singles action senior Jorge Rodriguez was the lone Cardinal to take a set from Notre Dame but lost 7-5, 5-7, 10-7 at No. 5 to Tyler Davis.
The Ball State University men's tennis team will close out its regular season when it hosts Northern Illinois in Mid-American Conference action Saturday. The match will be played at 1 p.m. at the Cardinal Creek Tennis Center.
