Five Cardinals scored in double figures with junior forward Danielle Gratton leading the way with 19. Sophomore forward Emily Maggert chipped in 15 points while teammate junior guard Audrey McDonald netted 14. Senior guard Porchia Green ended the day with 13 points and 10 rebounds for her second double-double of the season. Senior guard Kiley Jarrett ended the day with 11 points.
The Bobcats chipped away at the Cardinals halftime lead cutting it to 10 (46-36) at the start of the second half. Gratton quickly knocked down a three-pointer and a jumper to make it a 51-40 ball game with 16:01 to play.
