Perdomo Named MAC Tennis Player Of The Week

MUNCIE, Ind. - Senior Jose Perdomo of the Ball State University men's tennis team has been named Mid-American Conference Tennis Player of the Week. This is the third time in Perdomo's career to receive the award.

Perdomo went undefeated in non-conference action after winning back-to-back singles matches over IUPUI and Detroit Mercy. Perdomo took down Dan Klingenberg of IUPUI at No. 2 singles by a score of 6-2, 7-5. At No. 1 singles he claimed a three set victory over UDM's Pjotrs Necajevs. Perdomo also won at No. 1 doubles both days. With the wins Perdomo improves to 4-2 on the season.

The Ball State University men's tennis team (4-2) travels to Northwestern Sunday, the match begins at 10 a.m. EST.
