Women's Hoops Hosts Wisconsin-Green Bay Thursday at 7 p.m.

Scouting Ball State: The Cardinals enter today's game with a 3-4 record after falling 66-55 to Big 12 foe Missouri Saturday afternoon. Despite the loss the Cardinals were up 27-26 at half over the Tigers. Junior forward Emily Maggert led the Cardinals in scoring after chipping in 13 points. Missouri native sophomore guard Patrice King scored 12 points while teammate senior guard Audrey McDonald ended the day with 11 points which included four three point baskets.
Scouting Wisconsin-Green Bay: The Phoenix come to Ball State for the first time in program history Thursday night in Worthen Arena. Green Bay owns an unblemished record at 7-0. UWGB's 7-0 start is the best in school history. The Phoenix has defeated South Dakota, North Dakota, Florida International, Wisconsin, Southeast Missouri, DePaul and Northern Iowa. Green Bay is a member of the Horizon League. Kayla Tetschlag leads the way for Green Bay in scoring averaging 14.6 points per game. The Phoenix are coached by Matt Bollant who is in his third season at Green Bay. Bollant owns a 55-10 overall record. Green Bay is one of two teams the Cardinals will face that had participated in the NCAA Tournament last season.
Second Horizon Team To Play At Worthen Arena: Green Bay is the second Horizon League member to play at Ball State this season. The Cardinals hosted Valparaiso for the first time in Worthen Arena Nov. 24 which resulted in a 71-64 victory for Ball State. Green Bay is the second of three Horizon League schools the Cardinals will face this season. Ball State rounds out Horizon League opponent play at Butler Dec. 30.
