Maggert Named MAC West Division Player of the Week

MUNCIE, Ind. - Junior forward Emily Maggert (Paris, Ill./Paris) of the Ball State women's basketball team has been named Mid-American Conference West Division Player of the Week for the second straight week. The announcement was made by the league office today. This is the third time Maggert has garnered MAC Weekly honors in her career.
Maggert scored a career high 25 points in Ball State's 71-62 victory at Duquesne Saturday afternoon in the A.J. Palumbo Center. Maggert led all scorers with her 25 point career performance. She also earned her sixth double-double of the season and eighth of her career after pulling down 15 rebounds. She shot 78 percent from the field (11-of-14) for the week.
The Ball State University women's basketball team will face in-state rival Evansville Tuesday in Roberts Stadium with a 6 p.m. (CT) tipoff.
