Bill Richards Elected To The ITA Board of Directors

MUNCIE, Ind. - Ball State University men's tennis coach Bill Richards has been elected to the 2008-09 Intercollegiate Tennis Association (ITA) Board of Directors effective July 1.
Richards is one of six Division I men's coaches to be elected to the board. He will continue his duties on the ITA operating committee and will serve as chair of the men's ITA rules committee.
"It is a great honor, but a huge responsibility," said Richards. "College tennis has been my professional life and I am happy to give back to this great sport and organization."
Richards just ended his 36th season at the helm of Ball State's men's tennis program. He has compiled a 542-302 career record accompanied by 35 Mid-American Conference regular season and/or tournament championships.
